Montgomery Shade & Awning, LTD. is a third-generation, family-owned and operated business in Warrenton, VA. Founders Robert F. (Bob) and Kay Montgomery opened their Warrenton Shade Shop in 1963. The company transitioned to its present name in 1985 as its work moved to the sale and installation of shade systems utilizing awnings and canopies.
Robert F., Jr., (Rob) continues to operate the business along with longtime employee, Lewis Guy. Brian Montgomery, the third generation, has joined his father in the business. Tom Graham rounds out the staff with creative welding and fabrication skills.
The company continues to be represented by the logo of a "hunt country" fox in sunglasses that the elder Montgomerys introduced over 25 years ago.
